GEORGIAN OFFICE

This house had been put to a number of non-domestic uses since the mid-19th century with the interior sub-divided and everywhere a tangle of service pipes. However, it was clear that miraculously most of the original decorative features: chimney pieces, plasterwork and joinery remained reasonably intact. In converting the house to offices we used a light touch: stripping out the later accretions, enhancing the original features and spaces; in short, letting the building speak for itself.
