A new reredos/badacchino of six columns constructed in an existing side chapel in marble, limestone and scagliola. The work was completed exceptionally quickly – just nine months from application for Listed building approval to final completion. The baldacchino is Doric which because of its supposed origins in carpentry is especially appropriate for St Joseph.
